ANNOUNCEMENTS!

Today we welcome Scott H. to share a message with us during the service: “We’re going to take a partial look at awesome facts about the Holy Spirit from Himself and one of His main spokespersons, Dr. Luke.” The Scripture from which we will springboard is John 3:8; that won’t be where we end up, but it is central to most people’s everyday Pneumatology (the study of the Holy Spirit).

John 3:8 (ESV) “The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes; so it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

Next week Pastor Rohan will begin a Christmas sermon series: The overall theme is Unwrapping Christmas:

unwrapping-christmasDec 4: Christmas is about A Promise: Before you get a Present, 2 Samuel 7:12-14

Dec 11: Christmas is about A Hope: Hope you get what was Promised, Deuteronomy 18:15-18

Dec 18: Christmas is about A Savior: Fulfilment of what you Need, Matthew 1:18-25

Dec. 25: Christmas is about A Celebration: Celebrating Your Gift, Matthew 2:1-12

Work continues at the new building. If you have free time to help at the new building, please call or email Howard for what needs to be done. He needs helpers any time you are available during the week or on Saturday – whether it is the morning, afternoon, or evening.
